Understanding the Development of Self-Regulation

This session offers a foundational overview of the science behind self-regulation, including attention control, emotion management, and behavioral flexibility. We’ll explore how self-regulation develops from early childhood into the school-age years, and why it's a critical building block for academic success and social-emotional well-being. Early Literacy Screening in California
