Overview

Join Open Access for a two-part summer webinar series designed for faculty, instructors, supervisors, coaches, and staff who support teacher candidates and future educators. Grounded in the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), this series explores practical tools, resources, and real-world examples that help educators create inclusive, accessible, and engaging learning environments for all learners. Participants will discover ready-to-use resources that support lesson planning, classroom design, collaboration, and proactive planning for learner variability. The series will also highlight authentic examples of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Accessible Technology (AT), and Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) implementation from Open Access Showcase Sites across California. Through interactive discussions, classroom examples, and actionable strategies, attendees will gain practical approaches for preparing future educators to design learning experiences that reduce barriers and increase opportunities for every learner to succeed.
