Julie Rinker, M.Ed., C.A.L.T.

Julie Rinker studies Special Education with Cal State LA/ UCLA’s Joint Doctoral Program. Before pursuing doctoral studies, she taught students with- and at risk for- dyslexia in public schools. Her research interests include dyslexia interventions for secondary and post-secondary students, the integration of human rights curriculum, and mentoring educators as they develop expertise in literacy instruction
