Caitlin Costello, MD

Caitlin R. Costello, MD is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco, where she is the training director of the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship program and the medical director of child and adolescent outpatient services. She completed medical school and general psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins University, fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Columbia and Cornell Universities, and fellowship in forensic psychiatry at UCSF. Her interests include medical education, curriculum development, obsessive-compulsive and tic disorders, the interface between psychiatry and the legal system, and juvenile justice.
