Sue Sears, Ph.D.

Dr. Sue Sears is Professor Emerita in the Department of Special Education at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). At CSUN Dr. Sears taught courses in language and literacy to undergraduates, credential, and advanced degree candidates. Dr. Sears was the recipient of multiple special education personnel preparation grants and was most recently Co-Director of a federally-funded adolescent literacy model/demonstration project. Dr. Sears was previously the Director of CSUN’s Teaching, Learning, & Counseling Consortium, a multidisciplinary clinic that provides low-cost assessment, literacy tutoring, and counseling to local schools and families.
